Senza Fine: Infinity
This Tuscany is not the one of rolling hills dotted with cypress trees as we often imagine it. It is a wild and elevated land.
The property, perched at an altitude of 630 meters, overlooks a wooded valley scattered with vineyards and olive groves.
It is an ancient land, once chosen by the Etruscans who settled here 2,500 years ago.
It is a land of history, heritage, and music, nestled between Arezzo and Cortona, two medieval cities rich in cultural treasures.
And it is a protected land, cherished for its preserved nature, its porcini mushrooms and truffles… a natural park, Italian-style.
This 18th-century house I have restored and decorated to become a paradise for my guests, if only for the duration of their stay.
Only natural materials were used: hemp insulation, wood, stone, lime-washed walls, terracotta, linen sheets, and luxury bedding—all carefully selected to ensure your well-being, day and night.
As a travelling antiques dealer, I’ve scattered works from the Atmosphère d’Ailleurs collection throughout the house, even in the kitchen, which is fully equipped to prepare delicious meals beautifully served in a variety of ceramic dishes.

The eight bedrooms are all fitted with fans, selected not only for their design but for their quiet operation.
At the heart of the house: the shaded terrace—a place to eat, play, laugh, or even work…

The Pool
Because we chose a sustainable and responsible approach to restoration, the pool naturally follows this philosophy.
To the east of the garden where the breeze often lingers, lies a mirror of water born from an old dream.
It’s neither an architect’s pool nor a concrete feat. It’s a natural pool, a slow breath nestled between rocks, trees, and sky.
Its water, clear and silent, has never known chlorine.
It flows from mountain springs and, when the stream runs dry, from the depths of our well.
It’s purified by the roots of irises and the gentle sway of reeds. Dragonflies and butterflies trace colorful arabesques in a dance that one never tires of watching.
One enters this pool as one would step into silence. The body feels lighter, gliding between sky reflections and the shadows of foliage. Here, the world fades away, replaced by an intense and soothing sensory experience that no traditional pool could offer.
The natural pool doesn’t seek to dominate the landscape; it blends into it humbly.
It transforms with the seasons: bare in winter, blooming in spring, vibrant in summer, nostalgic in autumn. It lives, it waits, it challenges the artificial pursuit of perfection, offering nothing more, and nothing less, than a haven of peace.

The Bread Oven
Beneath its wooden frame, this brick and stone belly rests, waiting for fire. It’s not just a tool—it’s a place. A discreet sanctuary where bread once rose, where flames speak, and life is offered through flavor.
When the time comes, a bundle of dry wood, gathered in the valley, is slipped inside. The fire rises slowly, licking the walls, whitening the vault. It must be allowed to live, then die, with a soft crackle, almost like a whisper.
Only then is the oven ready.
First come the pizzas, shaped according to each person’s creativity.
Cheese begins to bubble, dough rises, herbs awaken in a brief, blazing, golden dance. Smoke rises with the mingled scent of flour and wood, and the whole table will remember it.
Later, as the heat softens, in goes the local farmer’s meat—raised nearby, fed with grass and care. It cooks slowly, in a precious and almost sacred silence. The air fills with a primal aroma—the kind that evokes old-time gatherings.
The bread oven is more than an oven. It holds memory. A warmth that brings people together. A slow promise in a world moving too fast.
It takes time to heat, time to cook, time to savor. But each bite tells a story—of wood, of fire, of patience, of sharing.
This too is what people come to find at Senza Fine: the gift of suspended time, the joy of being together, of living as epicureans.
